Jason is a highly decorated, retired special operations sergeant, experienced political consultant and business leader. In 2004, Jason started his law enforcement journey as a corrections officer at the Fayette County Detention Center. In 2005, Jason joined the Lexington Police Department. During his career at LPD, Jason was assigned to various specialized units as an officer, detective, and a sergeant. Jason’s assignments include patrol, investigations, and special operations. In 2016, Jason was elected as the President of the Fraternal Order of Police where he represented thousands of law enforcement officers from the Commonwealth of Kentucky. As president, Jason served as the legislative committee chair, where he worked with various legislators and organizations to create and lobby for various pieces of legislation that remain active today, including Kentucky’s “Gang Bill” which addresses gang violence and recruitment. As a sergeant, Jason supervised various special operations units including the department’s street level crime suppression unit and the Canine Unit as a certified dual-purpose explosives and patrol canine handler. In 2021, Jason Retired from LPD as the Canine Unit commander.

In 2017, Jason Created APB Consulting Solutions with the mission of providing professional training services for large corporations and universities in areas such as active aggressor, situational awareness and verbal de-escalation. As Founder and CEO, Jason was able to develop patented products and services and a patented process and mobile application for threat assessments of critical infrastructure. In 2021, after retiring from the Lexington Police Department, Jason sold APB, and it remains in operation today.

After retiring from LPD, Jason joined Sky Systemz, a fintech startup focused on providing digital payment solutions, point of sale and business management systems. As Chief Operating Officer, Jason oversaw all operational aspects of the company including sales and support, as well as mergers and acquisitions. As COO, Jason worked with both private equity and venture capital firms during the series A investment round to secure multiple investments from PE and VC firms. During his time at Sky, Jason was able to gain valuable knowledge and insights in the digital payment and point of sale industry, and as an expert in the industry, Jason has used that knowledge and experience to consult scaling fintech startups across the country looking to enter funding rounds and assisting them with navigating PE and VC investments. As the Founder and CEO of 14BRAVO, Jason is dedicated to using that same industry expertise to empower businesses across America with revolutionary technology solutions with a mission focused on supporting America’s law enforcement and veteran communities.
